What camera control regulates exposure time ? What camera control regulates aperture size?
Exposure time is set by the shutter speed. The shutter is the part that opens when you press the button. The longer it is open, the more light gets to the film or sensor.
Aperture size is know as the “F-stop” setting. The smaller the “F-stop” setting, the LARGER the aperture opening is. A small “F_stop”, large aperture opening, will give a shallow depth of field meaning that only the point of focus will be really clear. The larger the “F_stop”, smaller aperture opening, the deeper your depth of field will be.
