Why does the Nikon D80 auto adjust my Aperture even after I set it to Manual?
I have the camera set to M because I’d like to re-learn the basics of photography. I know how to set the shutter speed and aperture, but when I try to take the picture it still auto adjusts the picture. Why does it do this, and can I make it stop?
Also, it will not let me take a close up if the picture is blurry. What if I want a blurry picture? Can anyone help me out here? Thanks a lot!
How far does the aperture change? Does it still do it in Aperture Priority mode? Does the shutter speed change in manual mode? You could trick it by putting it in Shutter Priority mode and forcing it to over or under expose according to the aperture you want, but that’s pretty lame for such an expensive camera.
