Cheap but good Flat Panel Monitors
Flat screens are definitely taking over the market. They have been available for some time, but because their high initial prices and a lot of errors that seemed to have were not immediately popular. Today, both are more or less free errors and dropping in price rapidly. With a little snooping can pick one up relatively cheap in no time at all.
Find a cheap flat screen monitor is becoming easier and easier all the time. I took a screen quite a few months ago, and I am amazed at the difference it has made in image quality.
The prices of these new displays is now only slightly higher than the same sized CRT models. I have to wonder why anyone in their right mind would buy a new CRT monitor when you can pick up a flat panel relatively inexpensive. It's definitely worth the small increase in the price. The largest are of course still quite strong, but the sizes of 15 and 17 have been reduced considerably in the last two years.
There are plenty of brands to do cheap flat panels, and a lot of choices. The best way to get one at a good price is to go with an unknown brand, generic rather than a great name. Tend to be very cheap and it works great. The place that used to work some random screens mark and never had problems with any of them. That said, even the best-known companies like Sony are offering a good price displays also, so if your care generic brands or just a loyal customer of Sony, you will not have to pay more.
The monitor I bought is in fact one of Sony, just because the local dealer had a great sale on them. That's another useful tip when you go shopping. Check out sales! For one reason or another, it always seems to be a particularly good deal on flights around flat panels. Keep your eyes open and you will likely see quite a bit.
If you're still using an old CRT monitor awkward style, ask yourself why. When it broke out, having to supervise a former landfill and collect his new toy on the way home.
