Pentax is a level below the K10D?
I just ordered a canon g9 after many recommendations, and after fiddling with the S5 IS (Also recommended). I'm a newbie with the patience and only $ for a p & s. Are Costco, so I can play with them for 90 days … I have had dozens card and camera, because I'm throwing a child most of the day, so I'm really portability. I keep hearing how the kit lens away, but I have only the choice between keeping it on 24 / 7 vs. G9 fully automatic (yes, I know that the 12MP is overkill for the sensor). I hate to use the flash, too, but indoor shots as much as one third, so I'm constantly eliminate blur. Also, have the time to mess with raw and editing, but never I experienced the raw material (a feature G9). I guess where I am is … I've done my homework on the Nikon and fees (I am in favor of both), is there a kit Pentax in that $ 500 or less range that runs these kinds of intelligent performance. WOW …
All point and shoot no matter the price and are not large when is low light, high ISO shooting without flash. The only exception is the Sigma DP1, which costs too much and has usuability problems. Reduce the price in half could mess with her. As I posted here, I think you need to pass the p & s cams to get a digital SLR. Pentax entry level has been receiving good reviews. As for the cheap kit lens, but not surprising by any stretch, blowing cheapo lenses in compact digital cameras. In the cheap Nikon D40x D60 Sony Alpha A200, 499 Lens Canon XS (August) Pentax K200D not worry about the resolution, read the reviews, try to go to BestBuy or some other store to manage, see what they want. Get sample photos online (tip, Google Image Search, xtra large image) good luck
