Why are there two moons in my digital image?
I recently took a picture of the full moon with my digital camera and there's a double moon effect happens, the moon all big and bright with a faint moon-like reflection down and left. I do not know how this happened because my flash was off. Is this a reflection my lens, or is something else going on? I have a type of SLR 7.1 Mp Ok, I need to be more thurough: I froze Hiney and took the photo outside not through a window. The moon is as clear as expected, as parts of it are cloud covered. The other "moon" is dark blue, however, is equally clear that the first. There is no confusion or dashes between them.
I received a double image, like when I was filming a solar eclipse. What happened was the goal was just a little out of focus. Causing the image divided into two, because of all the refraction within the lens. Technically speaking, you have reflected on the lens. Shooting the moon is a bit complicated. First, you must use a tripod, because you want to use a telephoto lens. Secondly, to be established the manual, due to an AE exposed to ambient light (darkness around the moon). The moon is illuminated by the sun, so it would use the same exposure to use on a sunny day. Hope this helps.
