I just bought this product and is simply amazing! no comment about that if you use a mini SD adapter I can not work, so work for me and very good! I can use a card 2 GB micro SD to mini SD adapter, it works perfectly! Chinavasion rocks!

The video quality is good and fits very well in low light. But audio quality is average at best. I can not overcome the fact that a lot Spy cameras just do not cut the audio recording … is frustrating.
This recorder accepts a microSD card in a miniSD adapter (tested with 2GB MicroSD no problem.). But not yet accepted 8gbMicro card, I guess up to 4 GB only as directed.

The resolution is very clear as the CMOS camera is not digital. It fits very well to low light conditions. The camera also recorded at 30 fps – so it is not agitated.
This unit not work with a micro SD card inserted into a miniSD adapter – you have to use a miniSD card straight. No big deal. Also, do not accept anything higher than a 4 GB miniSD card – to buy some. I also recommend buying a few backup battery BST-33 (Easy to find online), but the drain in about an hour or so.
The date and time is correct and useful for screening tests.
We use this product for surveillance in private investigations and works beautifully. Just be careful if the introduction of testing with the audio, Audio recording is illegal in most U.S. states. An attorney in fact had made the recording device as evidence to try to obtain the evidence discarded. We had bought a camera that has no microphone, so you lost that argument. But keep in mind, if you change the audio output or not, the evidence will be thrown outside, because the equipment violates the law. If you are using this to research, ask about a camera, no microphone.
If you are using only for personal enjoyment, this product is ready to go right out of the box. You'll appreciate the quality of the video. Actually a surprisingly good product. "Made in China" is starting to say good things.
